i am going to attempt a 24x30 oil painting of husband. this is the photo i will be using. he is going to be doing one of me also, same size and medium. the finished paintings will hang in our bedroom on either side of our bed in these lovely, frames we picked up sometime ago at the thrift store. i wanted something kinda modern and american gothic at the same time and i think these will fit the bill nicely.

another shot of the lily. this one was taken inside under studio lighting. i think i will do an 8x10 watercolor painting of this. it would look really nice on the white paper. i'll have to keep you posted. i haven't done a straight up painting in awhile.
