several recent commissions ...with these behind us, we are both working on new projects. chad is finishing up a house portrait....this will be a new listing in the shop soon! i managed to sell a couple of ready made paintings that i had for sale and i am happy that the new owners are pleased with their purchases : )

Friday

more watercolors and paper people.

been a busy couple of weeks....
this is what we have finished so far.

i decided to raise the prices a bit on my sihouettes.
they have become quite popular...i love making them!

finished projects.

a portrait commission in watercolor for chad and a silhouette for me. the buyer ended up wanting the chin 'streamlined' and opted for cream paper. she also asked to have her daughters name and the date under the silhouette in addition to my signature on front. we are so glad to wrap up these projects....happy weekend!

chad is having alot of fun with watercolor portrait sketches
and the octupus was fanciful for me!

i am going to attempt a 24x30 oil painting of husband. this is the photo i will be using. he is going to be doing one of me also, same size and medium. the finished paintings will hang in our bedroom on either side of our bed in these lovely, frames we picked up sometime ago at the thrift store. i wanted something kinda modern and american gothic at the same time and i think these will fit the bill nicely.
